Cincinnati, OH – The Cincinnati Reds placed infielder Miguel Cairo on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left hamstring and recalled infielder/outfielder Todd Frazier from Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday.
Cairo, who's batting .111 with an RBI, sustained the injury on Saturday against Washington.
The 26-year-old Frazier hit .232 with six home runs and 15 RBI in 41 games with Cincinnati last season.
