Pujols leaves in fourth

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim first baseman Albert Pujols left Wednesday's game against Boston in the fourth inning with an apparent leg injury.

Pujols, who doubled to start the inning, came up lame heading to third base on Kendrys Morales' ground out.

Pujols is hitting .283 with 28 home runs and 86 RBI this season for the Angels, who came into Wednesday four games out of the final American League wild card spot.

Mark Trumbo moved from left field to first base and Vernon Wells took Trumbo's spot in left.
