Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Paul Martin is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks with a broken hand he suffered while playing for Team USA at the Olympics.

Martin missed the last two games of the tournament for the Americans, who came away without a medal after falling to Canada in the semifinals and losing the bronze medal game to Finland.

The nature of the injury was never disclosed in Russia, but the Penguins confirmed it Tuesday on their Twitter feed.

Martin has two goals and 10 assists for 12 points in 33 games this season. He missed 23 games earlier this season with a broken tibia.
