The Cavaliers own the rights to Sasha Kaun, a 30-year old big man who has yet to play a single game of NBA basketball. But Cleveland is hoping to change that next season, according to Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com.

"Veteran Russian center Sasha Kaun embarked on a mini-tour of Cleveland on Monday, league sources informed Northeast Ohio Media Group.

"His visit was for the purpose of house hunting, among other things, sources said."Kaun, 30, and the Cavaliers have yet to reach an agreement. However, "it's only a matter of time" before a deal is struck, according to a person with direct knowledge of the negotiations."

Cavaliers head coach David Blatt coached Kaun while with the 2012 Russian national team, and his experience could be a valuable addition to the Cleveland frontcourt rotation behind Tristan Thompson and Timofey Mozgov.

No deal will be reached until the Cavaliers sort things out with Thompson, but it seems as though the two sides want to make it happen in advance of the upcoming season.
