Norwich, England – Norwich City has signed midfielder Andrew Surman to a new three-year contract.
The 25-year-old Surman joined Norwich from Wolverhampton in 2010, and had four goals last season as the Canaries finished 12th in the English Premier League.
"We've a new manager (Chris Hughton) coming in now, and it's a great time to build on what we did last season," Surman said Wednesday.
"Everything I've heard about the new manager is really good. He's a football man, and a good man manager too."
"Andrew did really well for Norwich last season and as manager I am pleased that he has accepted our offer of a new three-year deal," Hughton said.
