GREELEY, Colo. – Elliott Lloyd scored 11 points and Northern Colorado dealt Idaho State its 19th consecutive road loss, winning 57-37 on Thursday night.
Devon Beitzel added 10 points for Northern Colorado (9-7, 5-0 Big Sky). The Bears are off to their first 5-0 start in the Big Sky in their five years in the conference.
Kenny McGowen had 12 points for Idaho State (5-11, 1-3). Leading scorer Broderick Gilchrest went scoreless and was held out of the second half with a sprained right ankle.
The Bengals haven't won on the road since Nov. 28, 2009, and are 0-9 on the road this season.
