Terrence Joyner scored 14 points and made four 3-pointers as Mississippi Valley State defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 88-69 on Thursday night in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Paul Crosby also had 14 points, Darian Donald added 13 and D'Angelo Jackson chipped in 10 for the Delta Devils (13-18, 12-6 Southwestern Athletic Conference).

MVSU shot 49.2 percent (31 of 63) and came down with a majority of the misses, outrebounding the Golden Lions 40-25. The Delta Devils dominated second-chance points 14-0.

MVSU led 39-31 with 3:42 left in the first half, before blowing it open. The Delta Devils scored nine straight stretching into the second half. Crosby's three-point play capped the spurt and put MVSU ahead 48-31 less than a minute into the second half.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff (7-23, 7-4) was led by Allen Smith with 16 points.
