Joao Rojas and Miguel Sabah scored on each 0 over Cruz Azul on Sunday in Mexico's Clausura.

Rojas headed in the opening goal in the 36th minute and Sabah sealed all three points with 7 minutes remaining in normal time.

Morelia started the new season with a draw and a loss, but has won five of its last six games to climb to the top of the standings after eight weeks. Morelia is unbeaten in six straight.

Guadalajara picked up its first win of the season on Sunday, defeating Santos, 2-1, with goals from Marco Fabian and Erick Torres Padilla. Herculez Gomez scored the lone goal for Santos in the 77th minute.

Also Sunday, Juan Cacho scored for UNAM and Sergio Ponce scored for Queretaro, as the struggling sides tied 1-1.

On Saturday, Jesus Molina and Cristian Benitez scored in the first 20 minutes as America downed Atlante 4-0 for its second straight win, Jesus De Nigris had the game-winner as Monterrey beat Puebla 2-1 for its third victory in its last four, and Elias Hernandez scored in the 90th as Tigres snatched a 1-1 draw at Pachuca. America, Monterrey and Tigres are all two points off the summit.

Also Saturday, Flavio Santos scored as Atlas edged 10-man San Luis 1-0 to move its unbeaten streak to five games, Luis Rey scored as Jaguares beat U.A.G. 1-0 for its second win in its last three, and 10-man Tijuana held on for a 1-1 tie against Toluca to stretch its unbeaten streak to four matches.
