Mirotic, Clarkson named Rookies of the Month

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Chicago Bulls forward Nikola Mirotic and Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson were named Friday as the Rookies of the Month for March.

Mirotic won the Eastern Conference award behind averages of 20.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks. He led all rookies and the Bulls in scoring.

Clarkson won the Western Conference honor after averaging 15.8 points, 5.2 assists and 4.8 rebounds. On March 24 at Oklahoma City, he became the first Lakers rookie since Eddie Jones in 1995 to score 30 points in a game.
