Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Heat traded guard Roger Mason Jr. to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for a future conditional 2015 second-round pick on Wednesday.

Mason appeared in 25 games, with two starts, for the Heat this season and averaged 3.0 points and 10.4 minutes while shooting 37.3 percent from the field.

Mason is expected to be released by the Kings, according to various reports.

He was originally signed as a free agent by Miami on Sept. 27, 2013.
