Heerenveen, Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) - Striker Anthony Lurling will be returning to Heerenveen after securing a move from NAC until the end of the season.
Lurling returns to Heerenveen 12 years after leaving the club, and he said he had no doubts about going back to the Abe Lenstra Stadion when he knew Heerenveen was interested.
"Other clubs were interested," Lurling told Heerenveen's official website. "Then I got a call from Heerenveen, the choice was not difficult.
"Heerenveen has a young and talented team, I can help the team and especially want to be an example on the field."
The 36-year-old scored one goal in 17 appearances for NAC this season and he hopes to bring experience to a young side that is currently fifth in the Eredivisie table.
Lurling scored 36 goals in 92 games in his previous spell at Heerenveen.
