Chelsea revealed the extent of Frank Lampard's injury Tuesday, stating that the midfielder is unlikely to feature for the Blues in Saturday's FA Cup clash against QPR after scans showed a slight tear in his calf.

Lampard sustained the injury in Chelsea's scoreless draw with Norwich City on Saturday and was taken off the pitch after only 36 minutes.

A statement on Chelsea's website read: "The midfielder is unlikely to feature in the FA Cup fourth-round match against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday but is expected to join up with the rest of the squad in Mallorca where they are training this week."
