Kaiserslautern added Danish striker Nicolai Joergensen on loan from Bayer Leverkusen on Friday.

Joergensen, 20, will leave Bayer Leverkusen in January on a loan deal through the 2012-13 season. Capped twice for Denmark, Joergensen has played 10 matches in the Bundesliga.

"Nicolai Jorgensen is a young and hungry player," Kaiserslautern manager Marco Kurz said. "He knows the league and we are confident that he brings qualities that will help us."

Kaiserslautern is 16th in the 18-team Bundesliga and visits defending champion Borussia Dortmund on Sunday.
