The Winnipeg Jets and forward Jim Slater agreed to terms Wednesday on an undisclosed contract.

The 29-year-old winger totaled a career-best of 13 goals with 21 points in a career-high 78 games for the Jets last season.

A Michigan State product and former first-round pick of the Thrashers in 2002, Slater has racked up 60 goals and 121 points in 449 regular-season games for the Atlanta/Winnipeg franchise since 2005.
