Reggie Jackson scored a career-high 31 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead struggling Boston College to a 76-72 win over Maryland on Saturday.

Corey Raji added 12 points and seven rebounds for the Eagles (16-9, 6-5 Atlantic Coast Conference). BC had dropped five of its last seven league games after starting 3-0.

Dino Gregory scored 15 points, and Pe'Shon Howard and Terrell Stoglin each had 14 for Maryland (16-9, 5-5). The Terrapins lost for just the second time in seven games.

Maryland forward Jordan Williams, who had a double-double in each of the last three conference games, was held to 12 points and eight rebounds.

Jackson nailed a 3-pointer with 59 seconds left after the Terrapins had closed a nine-point lead, 68-59, to 70-66 with 59 seconds left. Joe Trapani, who finished with 10 points, hit three free throws in the closing minute.
