J.J. Mann had 16 points with 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point range Friday night to lead top-seeded Belmont to an 86-63 blowout of No. 4 seed Morehead State.

Belmont (24-8) was 11 of 24 from 3-point range to advance to the Ohio Valley Conference tournament championship for the second year in a row.

The Bruins led 35-25 at halftime and Morehead State (20-13) never got any closer. After Belmont extended to its largest lead at 86-55 with 1:47 to play, the Eagles scored eight unanswered points to finish the game.

Blake Jenkins had 13 points with Craig Bradshaw, Evan Bradds and Nick Smith adding 11 points each. Reece Chamberlain missed his only field goal attempt but scored nine points at the free-throw line with eight assists for Belmont.

Angelo Warner and Brent Arrington scored 15 points apiece for Morehead.
