Bergamo, Italy (SportsNetwork.com) - Inter Milan and Atalanta split the points at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia on Tuesday as the two sides played to a 1-1 draw.

The visitors had taken the lead after just 16 minutes when Rodrigo Palacio nodded a pass for Ricardo Alvarez to fire home with a left-footed effort.

But Atalanta stormed back to equalize just nine minutes later as German Denis got on the end of a cross from Maximiliano Moralez and headed home from close range.

Neither side managed to find a winner, instead opting to settle for a draw that brings Inter to 19 points and Atalanta to 13 points.
