Indians summon LaPorta from minors

Chicago, IL – The Cleveland Indians recalled first baseman A Columbus on Friday.

LaPorta batted .238 with 11 home runs and 44 RBI in 97 games for the Tribe before he was optioned to Columbus on August 30.

The Indians also outrighted outfielder Jerad Head to the Clippers' roster.
