Brittney Griner scored 29 points and Destiny Williams had 19 points and 11 rebounds to help top-ranked Baylor rout No. 13 Oklahoma 92-70 on Wednesday night.

Melissa Jones added 14 points while Odyssey Sims had 10 for the Lady Bears (20-1, 7-0 Big 12).

Williams scored nine in the first five minutes of the game, including five in a row that gave Baylor a 13-2 lead with 15:30 to play, forcing Oklahoma coach Sherri Coale to call a time out. Baylor held a 17-4 advantage before Griner even scored.

It was Baylor's first game since edging Texas A&M by three on Jan. 30 — the only game Baylor has won by just single digits. Baylor, which leads the country winning by nearly 31 points a game, turned it into a rout quickly.

The Lady Bears led Oklahoma by as many as 40, taking a 68-28 advantage with 11:52 remaining.

Aaryn Ellenberg scored 27 and Danielle Robinson had 25 points for No. 13 Oklahoma (16-5, 6-2).

With Griner patrolling inside, Oklahoma turned to its outside game, but the Sooners hit just one of their 12 3-point attempts in the first half.

With 10:36 left in the half, Griner and Carlee Roethlisberger got tangled up in the lane. The 6-foot-8 sophomore took a hard fall just outside the paint. She got up slowly and limped back down the court after hitting one of two free throws but did not come out of the game.
