Gonzalez defeats Rojas to retain belt

Mexico City, Mexico – Jhonny Gonzalez took a unanimous decision over Elio Rojas to keep his WBC featherweight title.

Gonzalez (52-7, 45 KOs) defeated Rojas (23-2, 14 KOs) in his fourth title defense.

The other match saw Juan Carlos Salgado (25-1-1, 16 KOs) take a majority decision over Martin Honorio (32-7-1, 16 KOs) to retain his IBF Junior Lightweight title.
