New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and running back Ahmad Bradshaw are banged up heading into Sunday's game against New England.

Nicks suffered a hamstring injury in last Sunday's victory over Miami, while Bradshaw sustained a sore foot. Both were set to miss practice Wednesday, according to head coach Tom Coughlin.

"It's going to be day-to-day," Coughlin said about Nicks. "He tells me he's better and says all the right things."

In addition, the Giants were also set to practice Wednesday without center David Baas and defensive end Osi Umenyiora. Baas has been bothered by a knee issue and Umenyiora has a sore shoulder.

"He seems to think that it will be manageable," Coughlin said of Umenyiora. "He's not working today, but that's normal. He normally has Wednesday (off). Last week, he did work on Wednesday -- and Thursday as well, and Friday."

Others listed on the Giants' initial injury report include linebacker Michael Boley (knee) and offensive lineman Stacy Andrews (back).
