There is no place like your own hometown, something that Dawsonville, Georgia, native Chase Elliott can certainly appreciate.

Elliott Tweeted this photo from his hometown Walmart and it's clear that the local folks are behind him 100 percent.

Elliott and 39 other drivers will take to Atlanta Motor Speedway Sunday for the Folds of Honor QuickTrip 500, the second race of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season.

Last year as a rookie, Elliott finished eighth in this race and he'll be one of the favorites going into Atlanta this week.

"I raced a lot of legend and bandolero races there on the front straightaway, so that was one of my home tracks, so to speak, when I was short-track racing and certainly is my home track now," said Elliott. "Atlanta will always be special to me and hopefully we can go there for a long time and try to have some good runs along the way."
