GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - The Phoenix Coyotes fought through another season of adversity, scoring the second-most points in franchise history to make the playoffs despite an uncertain future.

It ended with a disappointing four-game sweep against Detroit.

The Coyotes cleaned out their lockers at Jobing.com Arena on Friday. With the ongoing ownership situation still lingering after two years - they're not sure they'll come back.

The team has a potential owner, but a deal to keep the team in the desert keeps hitting snags.

Until the ownership issue gets cleared up, the team likely will have to wait on signing players, including unrestricted free agent Ilya Bryzgalov.
