London, England – Celine Dumerc scored 12 points, Sandrine Gruda contributed nine points and France clinched the top spot in Group B of the women's basketball tournament with a 65-54 victory over Russia.
Endene Miyem had eight points for France, which outscored the Russians 30-13 in the third quarter on its way to improving to 5-0.
Evgeniya Belyakova paced Russia with 14 points.
The Russians fell to 3-2 in the preliminary round but are still headed to the quarterfinals.
