Former MLB slugger Canseco bashes Little League World Series umpires

Former MLB slugger Jose Canseco took to Twitter to trash umpires at the Little League World Series Saturday, going as far to accuse one of being “paid off” for calls made during a game between teams from Tennessee and Texas.

“Calling strikes on pitches 10 inches outside,” Canseco wrote in one message, FoxSports.com reports. “Terrible umpires,” he wrote in another.

Canseco later said that an umpire was only calling bad pitches against the team from Corpus Christi, which was defeated by Nashville 10-2.

Little League Baseball said in an e-mail to FoxNews.com that they had no comment on the matter.
