Eastern New Mexico is vacating all victories by eight teams over four seasons and all wins by four teams for a fifth season in hopes of avoiding more severe punishment from the NCAA for more than 100 self-reported eligibility violations.

The Division II school in Portales is vacating all wins in football, baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball for the 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

According to the Clovis News Journal (http://bit.ly/1beVPnA ), the Lone Star Conference school is also vacating its wins in football, baseball and men's and women's basketball for 2012-13.

Athletic director Jeff Geiser says ENMU hopes to avoid any postseason bans or scholarship losses.

Geiser says the violations don't involve any current ENMU athletes.
