Oklahoma City, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Scott Brooks said during Wednesday's shootaround that forward Kevin Durant will play in the team's game against the Phoenix Suns later that night.
Durant has sat out Oklahoma City's last six games after spraining his right ankle in the team's loss at Golden State on Dec. 18.
The reigning NBA MVP has been limited to just nine games this season due to injuries. Durant missed the Thunder's first 17 contests recovering from surgery on his right foot.
Oklahoma City has gone 7-2 with Durant in the lineup this season.
