Anaheim, CA – The Anaheim Ducks have acquired defenseman Kyle round selection in the 2013 NHL draft.
The 24-year-old Cumiskey played in 18 games with Colorado last season, scoring once and assisting on seven other goals. He appeared in a career-high 61 contests with the Avalanche in 2009-10, earning seven goals and 13 assists. Cumiskey has nine goals and 26 assists over 132 career NHL games since breaking into the league with the Avs during the 2006-07 season.
Newton appeared in 48 contests with the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL last season, compiling two goals and seven assists.
