Dortmund, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - Borussia Dortmund's injury list continues to grow as it was confirmed that midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan will miss up to four weeks with a foot injury.
The 25-year-old suffered the injury in Dortmund's 2-0 defeat to Mainz on Saturday after he came on for the final 25 minutes of the contest to replace Shinji Kagawa.
Mkhitaryan was injured in a collision in front of goal late in the match, and his injury could prevent him from playing on Dortmund's next six games, including two in the Champions League.
The Armenia international joined Dortmund from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013 and he went on to score 13 goals in all competitions in his debut season.
In addition to Mkhitaryan, Dortmund is already without key players Marco Reus, Jakub Blaszczykowski, Ilkay Gundogan, Nuri Sahin and Oliver Kirch.
