The Los Angeles Dodgers signed outfielder year deal on Monday.

Gwynn, 29, hit .256 with two home runs, 12 doubles, six triples and 22 RBI in 136 games during his first season with Los Angeles in 2011. He also stole a career-high 22 bases.

The San Diego native was a more capable defender, posting a .993 fielding percentage and racking up eight assists.

Over 502 MLB games with Milwaukee, San Diego and the Dodgers, Gwynn is a lifetime .247 hitter with seven homers, 38 doubles and 78 RBI, adding 64 stolen bases and a .986 fielding percentage.
