Kathu, South Africa – Adilson da Silva carded a four-under 68 Friday to win the third of three Vodacom Origins of Golf events.
Da Silva finished his ninth Sunshine Tour title at 10-under-par 206 at Sishen Golf Club.
The Brazilian double-bogeyed the 12th and dropped another stroke on the 14th to slide back to minus-eight. His four-stroke lead was down to one, but da Silva rebounded with birdies on 15 and 17 to secure the win.
Allan Versfeld and Desvonde Botes both also closed with 68s. Versfeld ended alone in second at minus-eight, while Botes was one shot back at seven-under- par 209.
Bryce Easton carded a five-under 67 to grab fourth place at minus-six. Jean Hugo was alone in fifth at five-under-par 211 after a closing 67.
Hugo and Darren Fichardt had won the first two Vodacom Origins of Golf tournaments.
