D.C. United goalkeeper Bill Hamid was fined an undisclosed amount for failure to leave the field in an orderly manner after receiving a red card in a game against the New York Red Bulls on Nov. 8.

Hamid was sent off in the second match of the Eastern Conference semifinal series against New York, and protested the call with the referee and assistant referees before leaving the field.

MLS also fined D.C. forward Lionard Pajoy an undisclosed amount for "putting the game in disrepute by deliberately marring the penalty mark" in the same game against New York.

D.C. beat New York, 1-0, in the second match to win the series and advance to the East finals. Hamid missed the first game against the Houston Dynamo in the finals, but is eligible to return for the second match Sunday in D.C. Houston won the first leg, 3-1. The winner advances to the MLS Cup final.
