Lennon Creer's short touchdown run in 17 win over the East in West Shrine game.

The Louisiana Tech running back was named offensive MVP after taking a handoff up the middle almost untouched for the winning nine-yard score.

Creer's touchdown snapped the West's three-game losing streak in the country's longest running all-star game and gave it a 46-36-5 lead over the East in the all-time series.

The game, which aims to showcase potential NFL stars of the future, also benefits Shriner's Hospital for Children.

Former Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress coached the West to victory over Bobby Ross' East team.

Penn State linebacker Nick Sukay was named defensive MVP despite the East giving up 10 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to take the loss.
