New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Connecticut is again an undisputed choice as the top-ranked team in women's college basketball.

The Huskies are the top team in the Associated Press poll for a third straight week, earning all 35 first-place votes and a total of 875 points from a nationwide media panel. UConn easily handled Tulane and Memphis last week.

Notre Dame moved up two spots to second after losses by South Carolina and Baylor last week. Baylor dropped a pair of games and slipped three spots from third to sixth this week. South Carolina, which spent most of the season at No. 1, fell from second to third after a 67-56 loss at Kentucky on Sunday.

Maryland and Tennessee are fourth and fifth, respectively, while the remainder of the top 10 following Baylor are Florida State, Oregon State, Arizona State and Louisville.

The second 10 consists of Mississippi State, Kentucky, undefeated Princeton, Iowa, North Carolina, Duke, Chattanooga, Texas A&M, Stanford and Florida Gulf Coast. Kentucky only moved up one spot from 13th after its Sunday victory, while fellow SEC member Texas A&M tumbled six spots from 12th after a pair of losses last week.

George Washington, Syracuse, Rutgers, Northwestern and newcomer Seton Hall are the last five teams ranked. California was 24th and dropped out of the poll after a Saturday loss at Oregon State.
