Conway, SC (SportsNetwork.com) - After posting back-to-back 12-win seasons, the Coastal Carolina football team will try to keep the momentum going in its 2015 schedule announced Monday.
Coach Joe Moglia's squad has won at least a share of the Big South Conference title in each of his first three seasons. His Chanticleers will play six of their 11 regular-season games at home, including against conference foes Presbyterian (Oct. 10), Gardner-Webb (Nov. 7) and Kennesaw State (Nov. 14).
They also will host Western Illinois (Sept. 19), Bryant (Sept. 26) and Alabama A&M (Oct. 3) at Brooks Stadium.
Quarterback Alex Ross, the 2014 Big South offensive player of the year, will return as a senior, leading an experienced team. He's helped the Chanticleers reach the FCS quarterfinals in each of the past two seasons.
