Miao Lijie added 17 points and 10 assists for the Chinese, who opened the tournament with a 66-57 victory over the Czech Republic on Saturday.

Sandra Mandir ended with 22 points for the Croats, who lost to the United States on Saturday. Andja Jelavic tallied 11 points.

Holding a 51-40 lead with under five minutes left in the third quarter, China went on a 9-0 run to pull away. Gao Song's three-point play made it a 20-point contest with three minutes to go.
