Dunfermline, Scotland – Celtic continued its exceptional form 0 win over last-place Dunfermline at East End Park on Monday.
The Bhoys have now won 10 successive games in Scotland's top flight, and they maintain their two-point advantage over Rangers at the top of the table with Monday's victory.
Anthony Stokes opened the scoring in 19th minute as the Irish striker tallied his 11th goal of the season.
It proved to be all the visitors would need to secure all three points, but Victor Wanyama and Charlie Mulgrew added goals in the 40th and 69th minutes respectively.
Celtic leads the Premier League with 53 points, while Dunfermline continues to struggle. It has lost four straight in the league and has dropped six of its last seven to sit in last place on just 14 points.
Rangers 3, Motherwell 0
Glasgow, Scotland - Rangers bounced back from Wednesday's Old Firm defeat to Celtic with a convincing home defeat of Motherwell, as the Glasgow club edged the visitors, 3-0, at Ibrox on Monday.
David Healy provided the opening goal in the 35th minute before a goal from Sone Aluko in the 55th minute and an own goal from Stephen Craigan in the 73rd minute wrapped up the result.
The win snaps a two-game losing skid for Rangers as they keep pace with Celtic after relinquishing the top spot with Wednesday's 1-0 loss at Parkhead. Rangers remain in second place on 51 points, while Motherwell has lost two straight and sits third on 34 points.
Hearts 3, Hibernian 1
Edinburgh, Scotland - Hearts extended its unbeaten run in Scottish Premier League play to four games with a 3-1 win at Hibernian on Monday.
Ryan McGowan put the visitors in front in the 58th minute, but Marius Zaliukas immediately conceded an own goal to see Hibernian draw level.
Hearts did not retake the lead until the 83rd minute when Andy Webster notched his third goal of the season. Rudi Skacel added another in stoppage time.
Aberdeen 2, Dundee United 1
Dundee, Scotland - Aberdeen overturned a one-goal deficit on the road to earn a dramatic 2-1 win over Dundee United at Tannadice Park on Monday.
Jon Daly handed the home side the lead after only six minutes, but Aberdeen responded in the second half, grabbing an equalizer from Mohamed Chalali in the 67th minute before Kari Arnason got the winner four minutes from time.
Aberdeen is unbeaten in its last two league games and improves to 24 points on the season. Dundee United remains in sixth place on 26 points.
Kilmarnock 2, St Mirren 1
Kilmarnock, Scotland - Kilmarnock earned a come-from-behind win at Rugby Park to avoid dropping its third-straight league game, as the home side edged St Mirren, 2-1, on Monday.
Lee Mair had put St Mirren in front in the 10th minute, but Kilmarnock responded as Paul Heffernan equalized in the 34th minute. The winner came in the dying minutes of the match as Danny Racchi struck in the 89th minute to see the home side claim all three points.
Both teams sit midtable on 26 points, but Kilmarnock holds the edge with a game in hand a superior goal differential.
