Cavaliers All-Star guard Kyrie Irving is doubtful for Friday's game with an illness that has coursed its way through Cleveland's team.

Irving missed the team's morning shootaround with flu-like symptoms. He will be re-evaluated before the Cavs host Memphis. Irving recently missed three games with a hyperextended right knee.

Rookies Dion Waiters and Tyler Zeller as well as Daniel Gibson and team trainer Max Benton all missed time earlier this week with the stomach bug, which has also sickened several team family members. Waiters and Gibson are both probable for Friday's game.

Cavs coach Byron Scott said he spoke to Benton about Irving's knee and said there are no immediate plans to shut down the 20-year-old star, who reported after Wednesday's game that his knee was still bothering him.
