Cleveland, OH – Cleveland Browns rookie linebacker Barkevious Mingo has been hospitalized with a bruised lung.
Mingo, the sixth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, left Thursday's game with the Detroit Lions first half with what was believed to be a rib injury. Following the game, Brown's head coach Rob Chudzinski announced that Mingo had been taken to a local hospital where he would be held overnight.
Additionally, Browns' running back Dion Lewis suffered a broken fibula. The Pittsburgh product suffered the injury midway through the third period after he was hit by a pair of Detroit Lions' defenders. He stayed on the ground for several minutes before he was taken to the locker room on a cart.
