Rakeem Brookins' 3-pointer with 2 seconds remaining lifted Siena to a 57-54 victory over Canisius on Friday night, ending the Saints' 11-game losing streak.

Siena (3-13, 1-4 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) trailed 45-32 with 12:18 left but got back into the game with 3-pointers.

Ryan Oliver and Brett Bisping both connected from long range, a trey by Evan Hymes tied it at 47, and another by Hymes, who scored 20 points, gave Siena its first lead, 50-49, with 5:07 to play.

The lead changed hands three more times after that — with the Golden Griffins (10-6, 3-2) twice going back in front on 3-pointers by Jordan Heath — before Brookins made 1 of 2 free throws for a 54-54 tie at the 1:07 mark. Brookins finished with 13 points.

Isaac Sosa scored 13 points for Canisius, while Harold Washington and Billy Baron got 12 each. Baron also had eight assists.
