Braves activate Sheets from DL

Atlanta, GA – The Atlanta Braves activated pitcher Ben Sheets from the 15-day disabled list on Saturday.

Sheets, who landed on the DL Aug. 25 with right shoulder inflammation, has gone 4-4 with a 3.54 earned run average in eight starts with the Braves this season after missing the entire 2011 campaign with an injury.
