Georgetown, KY – The Cincinnati Bengals have officially signed defensive end Jonathan Fanene.
The deal was reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer last Tuesday, but was not made official until Monday.
Fanene, a 29-year-old out of Utah, was limited to one tackle over two games a year ago thanks to a hamstring injury suffered in last season's opener against the New England Patriots.
Since breaking into the league in 2005, the native of American Samoa has racked up 79 tackles, seven sacks and one interception over 55 games with Cincinnati.
