Maya Moore added 14 points and Rebekkah Brunson poured in 13 as Minnesota avoided losing consecutive games for the first time this season.

Matee Ajavon paced the Mystics with 15 points while Marissa Coleman and Crystal Langhorne scored 12 and 11, respectively.

Minnesota currently holds a 4 1/2 game lead over Phoenix for first place in the Western Conference, while Washington sits in the cellar of the East.
