Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Colby Rasmus and Luis Valbuena both hit solo home runs as the Houston Astros completed a four-game sweep of the Toronto Blue Jays with a 4-2 victory on Sunday.
Collin McHugh (5-1) followed up his first loss of the season with seven quality innings. He struck out nine and scattered six hits and two runs as the AL West leaders earned their fifth straight win.
The Blue Jays had plenty of scoring opportunities but went 0-for-12 with runners in scoring position as they fell for the seventh time in eight games.
Their two runs came on sacrifice flies from Jose Bautista and Ryan Goins in the third and fourth innings, respectively.
Valbuena smacked his 10th home run of the season in the first inning, and Jonathan Villar hit a game-tying, two-out double in the fourth.
Mark Buehrle (5-3) missed his spot in the sixth, and Rasmus broke a 2-2 tie by sending the middle-in mistake deep into the second deck in right field.
Jake Marisnick tacked on a sacrifice fly in the seventh against Buehrle, who was credited with his 30th career complete game after yielding four runs on six hits over eight innings.
Luke Gregerson yielded a pair of one-out singles in the ninth but survived for to record his 10th save.
