Oakland, CA – The Oakland Athletics optioned right-handed pitcher Graham Godfrey to Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday.
Godfrey made the A's Opening Day roster but went 0-3 with a 5.06 earned run average in three starts.
To fill the roster spot, the Athletics recalled left-hander Pedro Figueroa from Sacramento.
