Boston, MA – Angels slugger Albert Pujols is listed as day- to-day after an MRI exam Thursday revealed right calf inflammation.
Pujols was hurt while running the bases in the fourth inning of Wednesday's game against the Boston Red Sox. He did not take the field in the bottom of the frame after being tended to by the team's training staff.
The first baseman is hitting .283 with 28 homers and 86 RBI in his first season with the Halos.
