SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - The San Francisco 49ers have signed their two first-round draft picks, Anthony Davis and Mike Iupati, adding some beef to a thin offensive line.
To say that Davis and Iupati were two big signings would be an understatement.
Both Davis, a 6-foot-5, 323-pound tackle taken with the 11th overall pick and Iupati, a 6-foot-5, 331-pound guard grabbed with the 17th overall selection, agreed to five-year deals, the team's website (www.49ers.com) said Friday.
Terms were not announced but according to local media reports, Davis signed for $26.5 million and Iupati $18.25 million.
Iupati, born in American Samoa, earned first-team All-America honors in his senior year and became just the second non-BCS player to be named a finalist for the Outland Trophy that goes to college football's top interior lineman.
