Scott Walker, the Wisconsin governor and former presidential candidate, has listed his Wauwatosa residence for sale.

Walker has called the executive residence in Madison home for the most part. But according to Fox6, the Colonial home he owns in Wauwatosa was a source of speculation among neighbors for weeks.

Some residents are wondering if Walker is selling the property to pay off campaign debts. Walker himself tweeted recently that he was planning to downsize after his two children went to college.

Setting aside the political chatter, we're just excited to see an adorable 1920s home on the market.

Listed for $338,000, the two-story home has three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and oodles of charm.

The home features several upgrades, including an interior laundry room, modernized bathrooms, and new kitchen appliances. The Walkers also rebuilt the chimney and repainted the exterior, according to the listing.

But the home's original floor plan seems blissfully intact. On the first floor is a family room anchored by a bay window with seating area. There is also a formal dining room with a built-in buffet and leaded windows.

Other vintage elements include the kitchen cabinets built in to the original brick hearth.

Walker announced his bid for the White House in July 2015, but he quit the race just two months later -- after memorably declaring that building a wall on the Canadian border was a " legitimate" idea. The Republican is currently serving a second term as Wisconsin's governor.
