For the most part, we know why this week's 10 most-clicked homes on realtor.com made our list.

There are a couple of homes of athletes that we've already highlighted in articles of their own. There's also a home that's been featured on a postage stamp, and the inevitable appearance of the country's most expensive home.

We also spoke with three agents to get their take on their listings' placement in the top 10, and two of them cited Facebook and social sharing as drivers of interest.

Which leaves us with a mystery in our top spot. It's a modest (and affordable!) ranch alongside a river on over 3 acres in Virginia -- but that's about all we know. Your mission is to help us figure out the deal with this week's No. 1. Choose to accept it, and scroll through this week's list of the hottest homes.

10. 790 Locket Ln, Jefferson City, TN
Price: $800,000
Why it's here: Wrestling ring is not included. WWE superstar Kane owns this spread in Tennessee; we found out exactly why the wrestler is sad about parting with it.

9. 166 Henry Ave, Boyertown, PA
Price: $289,900
Why it's here: On an acre of land about two hours outside of Philly, this contemporary home comes with an enormous 1,200-square-foot patio. Chill in the pool -- or the eight-person hot tub.

8. 29 Madison St, Wilmington, NC
Price: $140,000
Why it's here: Listing agent Wade Wilson told us the homeowner shared a link to her home on Facebook and got over 50 shares from her network. It doesn't hurt that the "really cute home" is "aggressively priced," according to Wilson.

7. 16 Beatrice Ave, Plymouth, MA
Price: $474,900
Why it's here: This 3,000-square-foot Colonial in New England comes with plenty of curb appeal. Only a short jaunt to Cape Cod, it's in the "desirable" Ponds of Plymouth neighborhood.

6. 6755 12th Ave N, Saint Petersburg, FL
Price: $369,000
Why it's here: It's a Mid-Century home with modern finishes, according to listing agent George Gower, who purchased this former foreclosure. Gower spruced it up with a little help from Ikea and Lowe's. His smart work sent clicks soaring.

5. 2129 Quail Ridge Rd, Ames, IA
Price: $1,173,000
Why it's here: Chicago Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg left Iowa State basketball behind and needs to offload his luxury pad in Iowa. Perhaps new Cyclones coach Steve Prohm needs a place?

4. 146 Garden Grove Rd, Manchester, CT
Price: $359,900
Why it's here: Listing agent Vinny Diana told us this homeowner spent about $150,000 on upgrades. He also said he's been actively promoting the property on social media -- which paid off in popularity.

3. 8330 Millman St, Philadelphia, PA
Price: $1,750,000
Why it's here: Known as the Vanna Venturi house, this architecturally significant home has its own Wikipedia entry. It's not every day you can purchase a home that's been featured on a U.S. stamp.

-- -- --

2. 9505 Lania Ln, Beverly Hills, CA
Price: $195,000,000
Why it's here: Do we have to say it? OK -- it's the nation's most expensive home.

1. 6228 Norris Run Rd, Blacksburg, VA
Price: $119,900
Why it's here: The plot thickens. Lacking a pedigree but having no shortage of wood paneling, this rustic ranch racked up 30% more clicks than the mansion in second place. But why? Because it's located on Little River and comes with its own Tiki bar? We're stumped -- if you have a theory, please let us know!
