Staying by the Bay? 49ers Tackle Joe Staley Selling $1.95M San Jose Home

Rumor had it that veteran San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Joe Staley was on the trading block after a tough start to the team's season. Thankfully for fans of " The Joe Show," the deadline came and went without a trade, but the story doesn't end there.

Staley recently put his San Jose home on the market.

Whether the longtime 49er was hedging against the possibility of a new destination or preparing for an upgrade, his home is available for $1.95 million.

Built in 1952, the modest four-bedroom home has an array of upgrades. In the kitchen, you'll find a gleaming hardwood floor and Viking stainless-steel appliances (wine chiller included).

The living room is wired with surround sound and has sliding glass doors that open to the yard with a pool. The fireplace features hand-placed stone, according to the listing.

The master suite, which may have been a bit more modest in the 1950s, now boasts a massive walk-in closet with built-ins and a master bathroom with an elevated soaking tub.

Staley isn't the only 49er to board the real estate bandwagon. In February, recently traded tight end Vernon Davis listed his San Jose home (which is now pending sale), which wasn't long after troubled defensive end Aldon Smith listed his massive mansion.
